The Ultimate Shelter-in-Place

As we sit in various stages of frustration and boredom over the current shelter-in-place orders most of us are subject to, consider Anne Frank and her family during World War II. They were restricted to their hiding place about two years, from mid-1942 until mid-1944.

Most of you are familiar with her story, they were arrested and deported to death camps. Only her father survived. He found her diary and published it world-wide. It has been translated into over 70 languages and theater productions continue to this day.

I stumbled into an amazing theatrical production of the Diary of Anne Frank. The Park Square Theater in Saint Paul, MN had to cancel their live production due to the shelter-in-place orders in Minnesota. They re-did the show via zoom and you have to see it.
